We built ELEVATE to be privacy-first — we collect very little, and some of our most sensitive features never leave your device at all.

1. Information We Collect

We intentionally keep data collection minimal:

• Email address — collected when you create your portal login after purchase, so we can recognise your account. Our on-site quiz does not collect your email.
• Account data — your client portal account and preferences are stored in your browser's localStorage. There is no server-side account sync: this information stays on your device and is not uploaded to us.
• Basic usage data — like most websites, our host may log standard technical information (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability.

2. The Bio-Scan & Your Photos

The ELEVATE Glow "Bio-Scan" analyzes a selfie to produce a general, at-home wellness estimate (such as hydration, barrier, and UV indicators). We want to be crystal clear about how this works:

• Your photo is processed entirely on your device. The analysis runs in your browser.
• Your photo is never uploaded to, transmitted to, or stored on any server — not ours and not anyone else's.
• No biometric data leaves your device. We never receive your selfie or any facial data derived from it.

This is both a privacy protection and a core feature of the product: because the photo stays with you, there is nothing for us to lose, leak, or share. The Bio-Scan is a general wellness estimate only — it is not a medical diagnosis. See our Disclaimer for more.

3. How We Use Information

We use the limited information we collect to:

• Provide the apps you subscribe to.
• Send you service updates and, if you opt in, marketing emails (you can unsubscribe anytime).
• Operate, secure, and improve the Service.
• Comply with legal obligations.

4. Payment Processing

Payments are handled by Stripe, our third-party payment processor. When you subscribe, your card details are entered directly with Stripe — we never see or store your full card number. Stripe processes your payment information under its own privacy practices; we encourage you to review Stripe's privacy policy to understand how it handles your data.

5. Cookies & Local Storage

We use your browser's localStorage to remember your account state, quiz progress, and preferences on your device. We may use a small number of essential cookies or similar technologies to keep the site working. We aim to minimize non-essential tracking. You can clear localStorage and cookies through your browser settings at any time, though doing so may reset your portal access.

6. Third-Party Links

Our product recommendations may include Amazon affiliate links and other external sites. Once you leave ELEVATE, those third parties operate under their own privacy policies, which we do not control. We encourage you to review their policies before providing any information.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with the service providers that help us run ELEVATE (such as Stripe for payments and our email provider), and only as needed to provide the Service — or where required by law. We do not share your data with advertisers for their own marketing.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing:

• EU/EEA & UK visitors (GDPR): you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, portability, and objection, and may withdraw consent at any time.
• California residents (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know what we collect, request deletion, and opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information — note that we do not sell your data.

9. Children's Privacy

ELEVATE is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 (or under 16 where a higher age applies). If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Data Retention

We keep the email you provide for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations, then delete or anonymize it. Data stored in your browser's localStorage remains on your device until you clear it. Since Bio-Scan photos never reach us, there is nothing on our side to retain.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, may notify you by email or in-app. Please review it periodically.
